HT panels can be located either indoors or outdoors, but the majority of the time, they are found in substations where they are utilised to manage the flow of energy. LT Panels, in conjunction with low tension cables, are utilised in the process of obtaining power out from generator / transformer and distributing that power to a variety of electrical devices & distribution boards.

Relays are automatic devices that automatically close their connections when they detect an abnormality in an electrical circuit. These contacts each close in turn, completing the circuit created by circuit breaker trip coil, causing the circuit breaker to trip and disconnect the problematic area of the electrical system from the rest of the working circuit.

Protection relays can be divided into electromagnetic, static, and mechanical categories based on how they operate. Relays are actually nothing more than a collection of closed or open contacts. When actuation parameters are provided to the relay, all or some of these particular contacts change their states. Therefore, contacts that are open become closed, and vice versa. The electromagnetic activity of a solenoid in an electromagnetic relay causes the shutting and opening of the relay contacts.

HT panel is generally a metallic enclosure which comes equipped with relays, HT Circuit Breakers, and metering that is utilized to process 11KV/33KV supply (through one / more source) and redistribute the power using its outgoing feeders. HT panel is used to take 11KV/33KV supply (through one or more sources). The number of outgoing feeders could be one or even more depending on the load that the building is experiencing at the time. In order to accept and transmit high-tension power, HT panels are typically installed in the substations of residential colonies, commercial complexes, factories, schools, and hospitals, among other places.
