IR Repair Wrap Fiberglass repair tape is packed in aluminum foil pouch with nitrogen. It can be operated easily without requirement of extra equipment. The only step required is infusing water into the pouch and then wrapping it onto the cables or pipelines. The material will form a tough durable covering that sets in 20-30 minutes.

Application Instruction:

1.Clean the repair area with abrasive material.
2. Wear protective gloves .
3.Remove the roller of the tape from the vacuum bag and immerse it in water at room temperature for 2-5seconds..
4.Press the tape roller out of excess water.
5.For pipeline leaking repairing, apply steel epoxy putty onto the leaking area .For other applications, no need steel epoxy putty.
6.Wrap the belt roller around the breakage/crack location in several layers(Wrap 4-8 layers. The number of layer is varied for different application), maintaining the tension.For more durable repairs, it is recommended to wind the tape also 5-7cm from the place of breakage in both directions.
7.Distribute impregnation evenly over the entire area of the tape hands pressing with effort.
8.Wait 8-10minutes till the tape is dry.
9.The tape reaches its maximum strength in 24hours.
It is allowed to grind and color the tape to give the place of repair esthetic appearance.

Hazard description: In case of direct contact, irritate the skin and eyes.
