It is basically an autoclave with special features for handling of liquid media, agar, broth, or any other media. The media is poured directly into a special container in the autoclave, which also has a magnetic stirrer. The media mixes in this, the temperature rises to a user-settable sterilizing temperature, holds for the desired time, then cools rapidly to the media pouring temperature between 45A C & 65A C; and then, without opening the autoclave, the desired volume of media can be dispensed directly onto petri plates a placed in a clean bench a by an external peristaltic pump and all this, while constant stirring of the media is taking place to prevent solidification. This entire process is automatic.
