Hi-Therm's Electric Thermic Fluid Heater are available in both, vertical as well as horizontal coil types. These heaters are fully automatic in operation and are highly efficient due to their functional design, in which the heating elements are completely immersed in the Thermic Fluid and the Heater jacket uses high density insulation to provide full insulation, thus preventing any loss of heat. The main difference between this Heater and a gas or steam boiler is the energy source which is being used to heat the Thermic Fluid up to the required temperature. While gas, oil or diesel boilers have a burner which sprays or injects the fuel, in case of Electric Thermic Fluid Heaters, there is no flame as the heat is generated using electrical resistance. Also, the usage of low watt density flanged electric heaters, helps maintain a low heat flux density. The surface area provided is generously sized to keep the Thermic Fluid film temperatures low, thus protecting the Thermic Fluid from carbonizing.

These Heaters are supplied as a compact packaged unit, on a skid mounted platform containing all the equipments which includes Heater unit, Thermic Fluid circulating pump, various Isolating Valves, Expansion tank and interconnecting piping. These Heaters are suitable for a maximum temperature up to 300 deg cent. They are available from a range of 6 kW up to 120 kW. Higher range of wattage is also available. Oil, Gas and Solid Fuel Fired Thermic Fluid Heaters are also available.
