There are two types of material that are mostly used in the day light panels viz; Polycarbonate Sheet & FRP(Fibre Reinforced Plastic). While the former is used for several application including as Day Light Panels, the latter got its approval for its specific and given application. There are several clones which claim to be of FRP and of little use for roof & cladding purpose, since they do not possess the UV protection property which property which is vital for human safety and do not have the strength to withstand the rigorous weather conditions.
