D.c. Shunt (Or Me Shunts)

With max years of industry experience, we are Exporting, Manufacturing and Supplying a various array of D.c Shunt in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India in domestic as well as international markets. We use most effective techniques, equipment and machines to manufacture the instrumental array. All our instruments are approved by Government recognized laboratories such as ERTL Mumbai, IDEMI Mumbai and ERDA Mumbai, to name a few.

The D.C. Shunt (or ME shunts) available with us are ideal for current ratings from 5 to 10000 Amps and mill volt drops of 75 millivolts. The product conforms to IS Standards 1248 and is provided with leads of 0.025 ohms. Some of its construction features are cited below:

It consists of Mangenin rods, soldered or silver brazed, to brass end blocks.
It is artificially aged after manufacture; followed by tests on full load.
Lead resistance is considered while calibrating the instrument

Temperature not exceeding 120C at the center and 90C at the ends
The ME Shunts withstand temperatures up to 120oC; without any permanent alterations in physical or electrical properties
Overloads and faults due to high temperatures (>120oC) can be safely handled
