-Rub-down the wood and knots -Seal knots with Berger Knotting Varnish
-New concrete must be free of loose sand and efflorescence. -Previously painted surfaces must be free of pollutants and flaking paint.
-Rub down with fine sandpaper -Touch up with appropriate Berger Primer.
-Apply with a brush roller or spray
-Thin as needed with water for spray application. -The first coat on an untreated surface may be thinned with up to 1/2 pint of clean water per gallon.
-No priming is necessary on fresh concrete -However 1 application of Berger Alkali Sealer is recommended on new concrete surfaces particularly on the exterior to avoid staining.
-Before applying Magicote prime new wood with Berger Grip&Seal or Berger Wood Primer White.
