Major Construction Details
Rolls: Alloy Chilled Cast Iron rolls with Smooth Surface hardness 510 ~ 550 BHN. The Rolls are mirror finished & polished, duly grinded and are hollowed for cooling.
Roll Clearance Adjusting Unit: Available options
- Manually Separate Screws Type (Standard)
- Worm Gear drive Shaft with Hand wheels / Motorized to close the NIP from One point for parallel sheeting.
Roll Cooling: Available options
- Funnel type drop tray System (Standard)
- Universal Rotary joints with inner Spray pipes with Hoses and Headers. Piping is complete up to supply pipe terminal.
Journal Bearing Housing: Heavy Duty Steel Casting Housing fitted with Anti Friction Roller Bearings.
Lubrication: Manual / Motorized Grease pump for lubrication of Anti Friction Roller Bearings fitted in dust sealed housing.
Stand Frame & Apron (Cap): Heavy Duty Steel Casting / Steel Fabricated.
Gearbox: Helical Reduction Gearbox of Greaves / Shanthi Reputed Brand Make.
Base Frame: Common base frame heavy duty, Steel Beams and M.S. Plate fabricated accurately machined on which whole machine with Gearbox and motor are fitted. No deep foundation required.
Electric Control Panel: Star Delta Electric operating panel with Voltmeter, Ampere meter Overload protection relay, 3 Phase Indicator and Emergency Stop Switch.
Tailing knives, Scrappers and Wind-up attachments are also supplied optionally with machine as per customer's requirement.
