The Bow Scout has two modes of operation:

1. Monitor Mode - the system will use the light stack to signal the operator of up, down, and in tolerance conditions. No automatic adjustment will occur. Monitor mode is active at all times.

2. Automatic Mode - upon depressing the Bow Scout Enable button, the system will monitor the strip while moving and make adjustments to the entry gap based on the pre-entered tabled information entered during system setup. The automatic mode will remain active until the end of the coil or the system kicks out signaling the red blinking light on the light stack.
