Ambient Particulate Monitor

Ambient Particulate Monitor was designed to continuously measure the mass concentration of suspended particulate matter in the atmosphere. Utilizing beta attenuation technology, this instrument is equivalent to manual weighting method for determination of suspended particulate matter in the atmosphere.

A known volume of air is drawn through a size selective inlet, which can be configured to measure PM10, PM2.5 or TSP, and deposited onto the auto-advancing filter tape. The combined measurement of mass and air volume are used to obtain the mass concentration readings.
