I. Definition and Classification
Definition: An air filter cartridge is a cylindrical component used for filtration, primarily relying on its physical barrier or electrical filtration mechanisms to purify the air.

By Filtration Method:
Mechanical Filtration: Primarily utilizes the physical barrier of the air filter cartridge, where the filter mesh screens out impurities from the air, including dust, pollen, odors, and harmful particles.

Electrical Filtration: Employs electrostatic attraction or ionization methods to ionize harmful substances in the air through the machine's electrostatic field or ionizer, subsequently collecting them on the charged filter mesh, achieving air purification.

By Material:
Polyester Nonwoven Filter Cartridges: Including standard polyester nonwoven and PTFE-coated polyester nonwoven filter cartridges. The former is made of polyester fibers with a filtration precision typically above 5 microns; the latter, using imported PTFE-coated polyester filter media, boasts long service life, high filtration precision, and easier back-blow cleaning.

Other Material Filter Cartridges: Such as activated carbon filter cartridges, HEPA (High-Efficiency Particulate Air) filter cartridges, and nano filter cartridges, each offering unique filtration effects and suitability for different scenarios.

II. Main Types
Air filter cartridges come in various types and specifications, primarily categorized as coarse, medium, and fine efficiency filter cartridges. Depending on the application requirements, suitable filter media and structures can be selected. Examples include:

Activated Carbon Filter Cartridges: Effectively remove harmful gases and odors from the air through the adsorptive properties of activated carbon.

HEPA Filter Cartridges: With high filtration efficiency, they can filter out particles larger than 0.3 microns in the air, widely used in air purifiers and the medical field.

Nano Filter Cartridges: Manufactured using nanotechnology, these cartridges offer even higher filtration precision and longer service life.

III. Application Areas
