(Ist half) application are to be filed between 15 Jan. to 15 Feb. and for 2nd half i.e. 01 Oct. to 31 Mar., time for filing application is between 1 May to 31 May.If applications are not filed within this period, the entitlement gets forfeited.Agri. Infra Scrip is also made partially transferable recently . Status Holders Incentive Scrip (SHIS) : Status Holders shall be entitled to incentive scrip @1% of FOB value of exports. This shall be over & above any duty credit scrip claimed/availed under chapter 3. The Last date of Filing the application shall be 31.03.2014 for exports made during 2012-13. Transferability : Duty Credit Scrip and items imported is now made partially transferable with Actual user Condition. Imports Allowed : Duty Credit Scrip may be used for import of capital goods, relating to sectors specified, provided same is freely importable and / or restricted under ITC (HS) (Para 3.12.6 of FTP). However, import of items listed in Appendix 37B of HBPv shall not be permitted to be debited. Duty Credit Scrip can also be utilized for payment of duty against imports under EPCG scheme provided the item is importable against the scrip. SHIS benefit is discontinued on exports made on or after 1.04.2013.
