The AAC-TE-05-IV Combo-Tester is an easy usable Footwear & Wrist strap tester with PC system to entrance of EPA area. It is an ideal solution for high volume of entrances where the quickness and safety is very important.

It is versatile tester because you can choose the right measuring methods according to entrance regulation: Only footwear testing or footwear and wrist strap combined testing. You have to make only one test at the same time for the left and right foot because of the dual foot electrode. The built-in LCD display can show the results. It can be connected to any kind of entrance gate (tripod turnstile, swing gate, wing barrier) with a relay output. It can be installed on the wall or with stand to the floor.

While wearing a wrist strap and/or ESD footwear, plug the wrist cord into its corresponding jack located on the face of the Dual Combination Tester. Place one foot on each foot plate.
To begin the test, use your finger to By gently pressing respective button,until the test results are displayed. If your finger is removed too early, the testera s LEDs will blink three times to indicate that the test was not completed. DO NOT touch any other metal while performing your test as this will affect your results.
A a PASSa test result is indicated by illumination of the green LEDs. A a FAILa test result is indicated by illumination of the red LEDs. A a COMa of the yellow LEDs is the data being synchronized to PC with management software . If your ESD test fails, check your wrist strap and footwear to ensure that they are being worn correctly and/or need to be replaced.

Note:

Failures may be caused by dry skin or minimal sweat layer. For wrist straps, try using an approved dissipative hand lotion to your wrist prior to use. Footwear test results can be improved by taking a short walk to build a sweat layer for better conductivity.
The Dual Combination Tester may also be used to test smocks or garments that feature a grounding mechanism for operators using a coiled cord connection.
