- Yield point: 835MPa
- Tensile strength: 980MPa
- Elongation after fracture: 12%
- Impact test: 45J(+20oC)
- Percentage decrease of area after fracture: 55%
- Heat din 1.6582 steel to 850oC temperature, slowly
- Soak at this temperature or hardening, quench in oil
- Temper as the steel reaches room temperature
- Uniformly heat to the right temperature
- Withdraw from furnace and air cool
- The common tempering temperature is 600oC, depending on the real requirements
