11981 5 Ml Tube Centrifuge Blocks

The 5 ml Tube Centrifuge Blocks (Cat. No. 11981) are designed to facilitate the centrifugation of 5 ml bead tubes, such as those formerly marketed by MO BIO, in standard 96-well centrifuge buckets. Each block accommodates 16 tubes, allowing for the simultaneous centrifugation of up to 32 samples when two blocks are used in parallel. This setup streamlines workflows involving sample preparation and nucleic acid extraction. For optimal performance, it's recommended to use these centrifuge blocks in conjunction with the 5 ml Tube Adapter Set (Cat. No. 11980) for efficient sample disruption and homogenization. Please note that these centrifuge blocks are not recommended for use at temperatures below 4C.
