Our high surface area high pore volume Wood Based Activated Carbon for Sugar have been used for purification and decolorization in sugar making industry. As per customer request, the activated carbon can be infused with magnesia or other materials to improve its performance
Function
Wood based activated carbons are used to decolorize and purify liquid-phase syrups during the sugar manufacturing process by adsorbing high molecular weight color bodies and impurities. Their large surface area and big volume of micro and macro pores make them a cost effective way for this use.
Options
We offer a variety of wood based activated carbon products for this application with a range of surface areas, pore size distributions, particle sizes and PH to meet different sugar decolorization and purification needs.
