Developed to replace thiurams such as TMTD. The dibenzylnitrosamine is not carcinogenic according to published literature. Be a fast curing primary or secondary accelerator in NR, SBR and NBR applications. Be safer to process, provide longer scorching times than TMTD. Sometimes used as retarder in the vulcanization of polychloroprene rubber.

CBS is a delayed action sulphenamide accelerator for NR, SBR, BR, NBR and other sulphur / sulphur donor cured diene rubbers. CBS is supplied in dust free pellet form which offers advantages such as easy handling, accurate weighing on all types of weighing systems. CBS pellets disperse easily in rubber compounds. CBS is also available in oil treated powder form.

Used as an acid accelerator currently and a medium fast primary accelerator. Imparts excellent aging properties when used both alone and in combination with DM, TMTD and many other basic accelerators for higher activity. Its accelerative temperature is low and easily be dispersed with lower pollution. Mainly used in the manufacture of tires, tubes, foot wear rubber belts and hoses etc.
