Vibration Sensors

Contact type sensors model EDV 350 series are self generating electro dynamic type, which are mechanically fixed to the vibrating test object and operate as absolute vibration pickups. These convert mechanical vibration measure, in combination with the vibration analyser, the relative displacement (PP), velocity (AV) and frequency of vibration. This output has a frequency directly proportional to the vibration or movement of the object.

Magnetic pickups are used with any vibrating ferrous object. Otherwise ferrous coating should be provided on non-ferrous vibrating object.
