Description:
Piroxicam is an NSAID that is used to treat some cancers in dogs and cats and to a lesser degree for pain due to osteoarthritis. Piroxicam is a nonselectivecyclooxygenaseA inhibitor with inhibitory effects that produces prostaglandins that regulate homeostasis allowing the kidney to respond to hypertension and protect the GI tract.

Indications and Usage:
This injection is effective in the treatment of pain stiffness and several types of inflammation conditions like osteoarthritis rheumatoid arthritis ankylosing spondylitis etc.
