Teamlink 5104 is a Converter that combines 2 or 4 asynchronous channels onto a e link at speed 64/2048 Kbps. It features independent soft or hard flow control for each asynchronous channel. It provides reliable error free end to end performance on composite link using error detection and automatic retransmission. Converter is required to operate on a V.35 link. Asynchronous terminals or ports of host are connected to the Converter. If the span between Converter is long, V.35 link may use modems or line drivers. Converter uses dynamic time sharing on V.35 link depending on the demand from asynchronous channels to transfer the data on the V.35 port. It is suitable for Yatri Ticket Suvidha Kendra (YTSK) connectivity of Indian Railway.
