The information obtained can then be used to assist with process set up trouble shooting and to optimise the operation of the process, potentially increasing throughput and reducing energy costs, whilst maintaining product quality. It can also be used to comply with specific industry heat treatment specifications such as AMS2750E, CQI-9 etc. The system includes a high temperature operating water resistant data logger, a thermal barrier (or a hot box) to protect the logger from the ambient temperature as it travels through the furnace, thermocouples and easy-to-use analysis software, enabling the user to quick produce comprehensive reports in a clear and concise format.
