Thermocouple Protecting Tube

Sic Thermocouple Protecting Tube usually use for the all kinds of liquid metal temperature measurement. WR series industrial Thermocouple Protecting Tube usually use with temperature transmitter, adjuster, and indicating instrument to constitute the process control system, use for directly temperature or control the temperature of liquid, steam, gas medium and surface of solids in 0-1800A C series productive process.
Silicon Carbide Tubes provide excellent thermal conductivity for quick response to temperature changes. They can be used as an alternative to Cast Iron Tubes, thus eliminating the possibility of iron pick-up. Special surface treatment assures maximum resistance to metal penetration for protection of the contained thermocouple. Protection tubes are available with or without collar in standard lengths from 12" to 48".
The Thermocouple Protecting Tube in the furnace walls must be in line and be large enough in size to prevent the element or terminal tube from being pinched at all furnace temperatures. Terminal tubes are optional but recommended for use with the SER and TSR elements and with fiber wall furnaces. Some furnaces have a potential problem of electrical conduction to ground. The ceramic terminal tubes have superior electrical resistance properties and can prevent this from occurring.
The tubes protect the furnace wall insulation and provide a constant clearance.
