For large in-building applications RF over fiber fed systems offer a reliable and effective coverage solution. Over 20 repeaters can be connected to the same Optical Master Unit which in turn is connected to the base station, each remote repeater feeds onto a local antenna distribution system for maximum coverage, alternatively off-air repeaters can be used. For very small areas of coverage where a low power repeater is needed Axell Wireless has recently introduced a new, small and light unit which is very easy to install and commission. In safety critical installations full system redundancy can be easily achieved.
