*As exit for exhaust of petrol and diesel engines.
*As mechanical protection for insulated wire and cable which are likely to be exposed to hot and corrosive atmospheric conditions.
* As a mechanical protection for flexible drive such as flexible shaft grinders and vibrators.
*As low pressure hose in industrial domestic air conditioning and ventilation systems.
*In the construction of over bridge.
