Properties: At the normal temperature, it is a kind of white or light yellow fine granules crystal or powder,odorless, salty and bitter taste, moisture absorbing. When exposed in the air, it is prone to absorbing moisture and becoms sodium sulfate hydrous. Its relative density is 2.68, melting point is 884a .It can be mutually dissolved with water and the solution is alkaline, while in ethanol it is insoluble.

Usage:

1 In chemical industry, it is used to produce sodium sulfide, Sodium Silicate(water glass) and other chemicals.
2 In detergent-making industry,it can be used as the stuffings of detergent synthesis.
3 In paper-making industry, it is used as the penetrants when producing sulfate pulp.
4 In glass-making industry, it can substitute sodium carbonate and act as the ydrotropy agent.
5 In texitle industry, it is used to brew age solidification agent of vinylene filature.
6 It can also be used in the fields of Non-ferrous Metal metallurgy, leather working and so on.
