Silica Gel Blue Granules

Silica Gel crystals are granular, highly porous form of silica made from sodium silicate synthetically. It is often found in granular or beaded form. In the assorted range of silica gel beads available, we deal with blue color silica gel beads that are impregnated with an indicator that indicates the change in composition when exposed by changing color.
Blue Silica Gel is free from moisture when it is blue in color and it is packed in this condition in air tight containers for shipment. With time and on exposure to nature these beads tend to absorb moisture due to which the color changes to pink. This gives the indication that the product no more usable and has to be replaced or has to be regenerated. These are usually seen in daily life products as beads packed in vapor permeable plastic and are used as a desiccant to control local humidity and prevent degradation of certain goods.
