The noise pattern of the power presses, which is mainly due to the impact, will be different from the noise that is emitted by the continuous running machines A careful study of the impact noise level is required before an enclosure can be designed.
Some presses are fed with the material from one side and the delivery is taken from one or more sides. Exemplary care is required in the design of such enclosures to avoid any hindrances to the periodical maintenance of the presses.
