Portable Automated External Defibrillator (Aed) Application: Medical

1. AED should be fully automatic, quick and simple to use by any layman. It should analyze ECG, charge and deliver the shock all by itself (only if required) without operatora s intervention.
2. AED should be based on biphasic waveform technology and should have facility of escalating energy levels from 200-300-360 Joules.
3. The unit should guide user through voice prompts.
4. The system should have a low maintenance battery power system with battery life of at least 5 years.
5. The system should have a self contained charging system which charges the battery without an external 220V AC or 12V Dc input.
6. The unit should give indication through easily visible icons for
- Service required
- Low battery
- Low charge
7. AED should provide intervals in between shocks for performing CPR as per latest AHA guidelines.
8. Should be supplied with all essential accessories /disposables to make unit fully operational including

9. Should have optional facility for wireless transmission of ECG data through infra red port to PC/ Laptop

13. Warrantee from OEM: Minimum 5 Years from the date of supply. Any maintenance / spare required during warrantee period shall be to the account of supplier.

15. Should be water resistant (minimum IPX4), shock and vibration resistant with inbuilt motion detection facility during operation. Should be FDA approved / CE marked.
