1. Pipe loading
   • The steel pipe is placed on roller conveyors or a rotating support.
   • The machine automatically feeds the pipe into the blasting chamber.
2. Pipe rotation and movement
   • Rollers rotate the pipe while it moves through the machine.
   • This ensures the entire surface is exposed to the blasting media.
3. Shot blasting
   • High-speed blast wheels (impellers) throw steel shots or grit at the pipe surface at speeds of around 6080 m/s.
   • The impact removes rust, scale, welding slag, and old coatings.
4. Media recovery
   • The used steel shots fall into a hopper below the machine.
   • A screw conveyor and bucket elevator transport the shots to a separator.
5. Shot separation
   • Dust, broken shot, and debris are separated from reusable steel shots.
   • Clean shots are returned to the blast wheels for reuse.
6. Dust collection
   • A dust collector filters fine dust and maintains visibility inside the blasting chamber.
   • This also helps protect the environment and workers.
7. Pipe unloading
   • After blasting, the cleaned pipe exits the machine.
   • It is then ready for inspection, painting, galvanizing, or coating.
