These are oral medication which is used to cure urinary tract infections, pain or ache in case of muscle strain or inflammation, minor infections, arthralgia and arthritis. Flavoxate Tablets I.P is indicated for the treatment of disease states in which urine flow is slowed or relaxed. It helps to relieve painful burning and voiding symptoms associated with urinary tract infection, helps improve urinary function in patients with spinal cord injury and enhances peristalsis, reduces constipation and improves colonic transit time. Flavoxate Tablets is indicated for the treatment of patients with urinary tract infections (UTIs) caused by susceptible strains of Escherichia coli, Klebsiella spp. and other Enterobacteriaceae, producing extended-spectrum beta-lactamases (ESBLs).
