Open Channel Tilting Flume

Backed a team of hardworking professionals, we have been able to manufacture, export and supply an exclusive array of Open Channel Tilting Flume in Roorkee, Uttarakhand, India. Apparatus consists of a close circuit through which water is circulated continuously by means of a centrifugal pump of 100 mm x 100 mm with 10.0 H.P. motor to make the supply from sump tank.

A Stainless Steel sump tank of suitable capacity fabricated on M.S. angle frame with 3 mm thick S.S. sheet is provided. Inside of the tank is lined with FRP. A drain valve of 15 mm size is provided in the bottom of the tank.

The set up consists of an tilting flume 90 cm wide, 90 cm deep and with a stabilizing tank. For total length of flume is about 10.0 m. For visual observation of flow pattern along the flume section, both sides of flume are provided with transparent perspex sheet about 6.0 m long. The inlet section is provided with 2 Nos. of baffles for stream line flow. The upstream and downstream sections are provided with adjustable gates with rack and pinion arrangement.
