Nai Scintillation Crystal

These NaI Scintillation Crystal is a kind of scintillation crystal with good performance, It is grown by host material sodium iodide doped with appropriate percentage of thallium. The main emission wavelength is 415nm, which well matched the the photomultiplier tubes(PMTs). It has very high luminescence efficiency and exhibits no significant self adsorption of scintillation light and has good resolution ability to X and Gamma-ray, which was used traditionally in nuclear medicine, environmental monitoring, nuclear physics, airborne survey, well logging and many other applications.
EPIC has been traditionally growing NaI(TI) scintillator by using Bridgman method with stable quality, which was ever used in safety inspection equipment during Beijing Olympic and Shanghai Expo, and acquired great honor from both demostic and oversea markets.
Recently, EPIC finished breakthrough that using Czochralski growed 50mm diameter, 300mm thickness NaI(TI) bare crystal with transparent physical parameters, and obtained very nice result after the crystal was sealed, please contact us for further details
