N Series connectors, also called Type N Connectors, are RF connectors that connect Coaxial Cables. N Series connectors from ORITRON are high-quality, standard size connectors with a frequency range of DC to 11 GHz. They have a thread coupling design, which insures low noise level and the ability to withstand shock and vibration.

The N Series connector was originally designed by Paul Neill of Bell labs in the 1940s. The goal of this connector was to have a medium sized RF Connector capable of carrying microwave frequency signals of up to 1 GHZ. Today, N Series connectors are the most popular medium size connector. N series connectors are used for many different applications including base station antennas, test and measurement equipment, transmitters, cable television, etc.
