Moxifloxacin and ketorolac tromethamine ophthalmic solution eye drops is used to treat bacterial infections of the eye, including conjunctivitis (pinkeye; infection of the membrane that covers the outside of the eyeball and the inside of the eyelid) and corneal ulcers (infection and loss of tissue in the clear front part of the eye).
Moxifloxacin and Ketorolac Tromethamine Ophthalmic Solution is an antibiotic, anti-inflammatory drug combination in an eye solution. It is used for the treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis, inflammation and pain associated with cataract surgery.
Moxifloxacin comes as solution and ointment to apply to the eyes. It usually is used three or four times a day for up to 5 days. Apply moxifloxacin in the affected eye(s) usually every 2 hours while awake (for example, at 8 a.m., 10 a.m., 12 p.m., 2 p.m., 4 p.m., and 6 p.m.) and once at bedtime. The doses should be spaced approximately 2 hours apart unless otherwise directed by your doctor and may be given without regard to meals.
