Intended use
This immunoassay kit allows for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Troponin T, Tn-T concentrations in serum, plasma and other biological fluids.

Introduction
Troponin T is a part of the troponin complex. It binds to tropomyosin, interlocking them to form a troponin-tropomyosin complex. The tissue specific subtypes are:
Slow skeletal troponin T1, TNNT1 (19q13.4, 191041)
Cardiac troponin T2, TNNT2 (1q32, 191045)
Fast skeletal troponin T3, TNNT3 (11p15.5, 600692)

Test principle
The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an specific to Tn-T. Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with a
biotin-conjugated polyclonal antibody preparation specific for Tn-T and Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. Then a
TMB substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Tn-T, biotin-conjugated antibody and enzyme-conjugated Avidin will exhibit a change in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of a sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm A 2 nm.
