Septu has developed a jute-processing machine in collaboration with India Jute Industries Research Association Calcutta.

The machine using steam and chemicals soften the raw and waste jute fibre so as to it can be used in clothing/Ply-Board/Car Dashboard etc.

The machine is a fully automatic machine/energy efficient/requires less man power. The advantages:

• Clothes : Jule when mixed with cotton instead of polyester gives cloth that is 100% natural. The jute produced from Septu machine is of 14+ count.
• Ply-Board : Jute ply board are have the same look/finish/properties that of wooden ply board but at the same time are environment friendly and can be made from waste gunny bags so are cheap to produce and can be worked upon same way as wooden ply board.
• Car dashboard and other interior accessories: when made from jute have big advantage over plastic ones as they are environment friendly/ light in weight and as strong and durable as plastic. Also they are cheap to produce and have long life.
