Amla is antibacterial and anti-fungal and has anabolic action. Fresh fruit juice of Amla is used in inflammations of eyes as a collyrium. It can be applied with benefit to recent inflammations of the conjunctiva and other eye complaints, ophthalmia. Kapoor (Cinnamomum Camphora) Kapoor is a counter irritant. It has been known to provide cooling effect to the eyes as well. Madh - Honey Madh is antimicrobial in nature. It is nutritive, demulcent, and emollient.
