This product is a colorless or light yellow clear liquid.

Pharmacological Actions: -
- Pharmacodynamics Florfenicol is a broad-spectrum antibiotic of amide alcohol and a bacteriostatic agent.
- It acts by binding to the 50S subunit of the ribosome to inhibit the synthesis of bacterial protein.
- It has strong antibacterial activity against a variety of Gram-positive bacteria and Gram-negative bacteria.
- Pasteurella hemolyticus, Pasteurella multocida and Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae are highly sensitive to florfenicol.
- The antibacterial activity of florfenicol against many microorganisms in vitro is similar to or stronger than that of thiamphenicol.
- It is mainly used for bacterial diseases of pigs, chickens and fish caused by sensitive bacteria, such as respiratory diseases of cattle and pigs caused by Pasteurella hemolyticus, Pasteurella multocida and Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae.
- Typhoid fever and paratyphoid fever, chicken cholera, pullorum and Escherichia coli diseases caused by Salmonella; fish bacterial sepsis, enteritis and red skin disease etc caused by fish pasteurella, vibrio, Staphylococcus aureus, Aeromonas hydrophila, enteritis bacteria.
