Heavy Duty Piston Rods

Laxmi Udyog is manufacturing, exporting and supplying a wide range of Heavy Duty Piston Rods in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India. All LU Piston Rods are designed and manufactured to meet or exceed A.P.I Standards and are supplied with A.P.I Monogram. These are made from selected grade rolled and annealed alloy steels made to pump manufacturer's specification. Threads are prcis only cut and are controlled by A.P.I gauges. The concentricity in the Piston Rod is very closely maintained. Rods are carefully heat treated in automatic controlled electric furnaces. Rods are carburised to give a case depth of 2 to 2.5 mm and hardened/ tempered to get a hardness of HRC 60 - 62 on the case while keeping a strong and ductile core. The deep hard case provides a slow rate of wear throughout the useful life of the rod.

LU - Piston Rods are made in two grades (a) Regular (b) Supreme. Regular grade Piston Rods are price wise economical and are recommended for low pressure Slash Pumps. Supreme piston Rods are used for medium to heavy rated pressure Slush Pumps and provide a good resistance to wear and corrosive drilling fluids.
