HOW TO USE
Connect the USB Male to Male Cable to USB port of the computer Or RS232 To Direct Connetect To Computer Comport , install CP2102 drivers and you will be assigned a COM port through which you can communicate as you do through a SERIAL port. Connect 12V 1A DC Adapter / Power Supply to the SIM900A GSM MODEM to power it. Use AT commands of SIM900A through the assigned COM port to control the GSM MODEM the way you want to control it.
SIM900A Modem is built with Dual Band GSM/GPRS based SIM900A modem from SIMCOM. It works on frequencies 900 / 1800 MHz. SIM900A can search these two bands automatically. The frequency bands can also be set by AT Commands. The baud rate is configurable from 1200-115200 through AT command. The GSM/GPRS Modem is having internal TCP/IP stack to enable you to connect with internet via GPRS.
