In the technological scheme applied heat resistant electrodialyzer type EMA-TMN, which has no analogues. Electromembrane apparatus is designed to operate in continuous mode at the working solutions of gelatin having a working temperature of 50-65oC, which greatly increases the energy efficiency of the process. The conducted pilot tests showed removal of 80-85% inorganic salts from gelatin, with the final content of the mass fraction of ash in the resulting product not exceeding 0.05-0, 1%. The process of desalination of gelatin with a solids content TS=21-25%, is carried out without dilution of the working solution supplied by water, in a single pass (flow) mode. The equipment is compact and can be easily installed in the current production technology, for example after filtration equipment.
