These Flanging Machines are suitable for flanging, punching (on request) and stiffening closed re-flanging on ferrules (on request). These Flanging Machine can do all the a.m. operations with an only one positioning of the piece. The piece is clamped directly on the spindle through an expansion equipment which is provided with interchangeble sectors that can be easily manufactured. The flanging-punching and closed re-flanging units are positioned in radial sense respect to the work piece and their positioning is easy and quick thanks to some handwheels and mechanical position indicators. Some mechanical shoulders with direction indication of dimension provide to center the work piece in axial sense; therefore, adjusting them you may change the flanging height. Flanging and closed re-flanging operations are done by motorized rolls with hydrostatic system, while the motorization of the punching operation is driven by a d.c. motor, reducer and encoder; this all is controlled by an easy positioning device.
