It measures the effects quick and easy discrimination between right-handed sugars such as Dextrose and left-handed sugar such as levulose. The smallest division on the angular scale is 1. The Sugar Scale is calibrated between -30 & 0 (for Laboratory substances) and 0 & +130 ISS. The properly illuminated scale facilitate reading.
