DEPTH FILTERATION
It's process of removal of particulate suspended material from a liquid by passing liquid though a bed of granular or compressible filter medium. We offers four type of depth filter which are described below :-
1) Pressure Sand Filter :- PSF composed of single sand media of various sizes over layers of pebbles and gra-vels.
2) Dual Media Filter :- DMF is the combination of layer of anthracite over sand media supported by pebbles and gra-vels.
3) Multi Media Filter :- It typically consists of bed of anthracite over layer of sand over a bed of garnet, supported by pebbles and gra-vels.
ACTIVATED CARBON FILTER
Activated Carbon Filter removes colour, odor, chlorine, aromatic solvents, pesticides, herbicides,radon, lead, hydrocarbons and organic impurities by principle of adsorption. Activated Carbon is made by pyrolysis of coconut hull, coal, woods etc. followed by activation in presence of oxidizing gases. i
