Specially developed for Low Voltage A.C. Generator, this automatic Voltage Regulator consists of metering unit, protection system and voltage control circuits. This AVR has a vital role in uninterrupted power supply to the exciter field of A.C generator and in controlling voltage of the generator. The AVR panel has been designed with two AVRs like AVR 1 and AVR 2 with automatic operating mode. Both of these AVRs can be selected by using AVR selector switch.

The offered AVR Panel is effective in supplying large amount of voltage to the generator exciter field for fast recovery of voltage under transitory condition. The high gain amplifier and a thyristor converter of this panel has a significant role in regulating its voltage.

This AVR Panel is used to control terminal voltage of generator; to protect the generator during its high speed operation; to regulate terminal voltage by using V-Trim pot; to measure and to keep record of different types of excitation parameters.
