DSO Shell has a similar bandwitch as DSO138, but it contains significant improvements in structure, mechanics and operation. the display and the MCU are now installed on the same main board to avoid using the inter-board pin headers.Reviews from DSO138 usres showed that soldering on pin headers is often problematic for many newbies. The analog channel is placed on a divided board that contains most of the user installation parts. This leads to a better separation between analog and digital circuits. Without the analog part of the main board, there is actually a general purpose control board that can be used in many other applications. The main board is fully installed (with the exception of a few end-to-end components) and factory inspection before packing.2. DSO Shell comes with a full enclosure. Front panel and upper / lower brackets are flexible for easy user modification.3. Added rotary encoder. This makes setting up parameters much quicker and easier.4. The sensitivity of the DSO case has expanded in both directions and is higher and wider than the DSO138. It reaches 5mV / div-20V / div, and DSO138-only 10mV / div - 5V / div.
