Analog to Digital converter is mounted on the Load Cell. This reduces the noise pick up and delivery a very stable analog signal from Load Cell for ADC conversion. When a high quality analog signal is obtained for ADC conversion. It will give more accurate weight display with low noise.

Since each Load Cell has its own ADC the internal resolution increase multiple times. This facilitates offering of a very small Weight graduation for display. For example ina conventional Weigh Bridge using 4 nos. 30t analog Load Cell of 2mv/V output a minimum of 5 kg resolution is obtained for stable Weight display. However when a similar Weigh Bridge is designed using 4 nos. 30t Digital Load Cell, we can get a resolution of 2 kg.

Digital Load Cell are pre calibrated and hence no field calibration is required. The Digital Load Cell can be directly mounted on the Weigh Bridge and the Weight obtained without any need for calibration. Incase of exceptional structure deformity or mounting assembly defects, the Weight display can be adjusted using smart calibration feature which only requires entering the correction factor using the sky board on the Weight Indicator.

Corner correction is normally not required when the Weigh Bridge is designed using digital Load Cell. However, in case of exceptional structure deformity or mounting assembly defects, the corner errors can be removed with minimal efforts. Only correction factors are to be entered through key board for corner error correction.

Since the Load Cell are pre calibrated, it offers a facility of easy field replace ability. After field replacement, no calibration and no corner correction is required.
