Cobas b 221 is equipped with maintenance free sensors. These can be combined in special parameter configuration which allows a tailor-made solution for your specific needs at minimized costs.

With our patented and now further improved fill port you have the opportunity to choose between three types of sample application. Not only injection via syringe but now also aspiration from the syringe and from all other common sample containers such as capillaries, micro sampler or ampoules is possible.

Depending on you parameter combination the analyzer needs just two or three multiregent containers.

These include all necessary reagents for liquid calibration cleaning and system supplies. The instrument automatically detects regent level and recognizes each exchange of containers via a coded radio frequency transponder.

Patented liquid calibration eliminates use of expensive calibration gases: the need of frequent refilling of cylinders at the same time ensures precise calibration. Fluid calibration system also eliminates use of pressurized gas cylinders in intensive care setting.
