Cationic Dyeable Pet Chip

Cationic polyester chips have a special affinity for cationic dyes, making them more easily absorb dyes during the dyeing process, resulting in vibrant colors and high color fastness.

Cationic dyeable polyester chips come in two varieties: CDP and ECDP. CDP fibers are not suitable for blending with other synthetic fibers.

CDP Characteristics:
These are high-pressure cationic dyeable polyester chips, with dyeing conditions set at 120C to 130C and 0.13 MPa.

Advantages of CDP:

• CDP fibers exhibit excellent color fastness and vibrant hues.
• They facilitate cross-dyeing, resist printing, and variation dyeing effects.

ECDP Characteristics:
ECDP chips vary in Tio2 content, offering both bright and semi-dull options. They can be dyed at standard cationic dyeable polyester chip conditions of 95C to 100C, under room temperature and pressure.

Advantages of ECDP:

• With a higher sulfonic acid group content ranging from 2.5% to 7%, ECDP chips boast superior dyeability, allowing for deeper colors.
• They also excel in moisture absorption and possess certain anti-pilling properties.

Applications:
These chips are primarily used in the development of cellulose-like fibers.

Through specialized post-spinning false twist processing, they can produce viscose and cotton-like fibers.

They can serve as a partial substitute for nylon 6 fibers.
