There are two types of Cardamom i.e Green cardamom & Black cardamom. This is native to India and Srilanka. Height of this plant between 2-6 m. Leaves dark green long and sword shaped. fruits pale green to yellow and elongated oval shape. Each fruit has three chambers filled with small aromatic seeds each about 3mm long. the fruits & seed both used as flavouring.
